I seem to making some misses lately. Not all have been complete fails but nonetheless not optimal results. But this is why I'm here... to experiment, to try, to see if my ideas works and deal with whatever results I end up with. In this case - a wet pancake.
Now I can't blame the recipe as I didn't follow it exactly (never do) nor the instructions (obviously). I decided to try baking it differently by using an non-preheated spring form pan thinking it would be easier to plate after baking and it just didn't work out. Tasted ok, but of course the added ice cream we scooped on top of messy portioned pieces helped out a lot. Needless to say I'm going to give this another shot because I've made this before with beautiful results. So I will be pulling out the ol' cast iron pan for a proper attempt of this delicious treat on another cool evening...
